I have saved many boxes of memorabilia and have numerous journals. But I have never pulled it all together and told the story behind the “stuff”. I have spent so much time documenting the lives and experiences of my ancestors, I never gave much thought to my own legacy and what will be lost to my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren if I do not tell them my stories.”
