Annie’s Digital Things

A photo of my grandmother at age 16 started my journey into scrapbooking. I was already doing the family genealogy, so scrapbooking was a natural addition.   I’ve been involved in artistic projects as long as I can remember. I was taught to sew and embroider as a preschooler.   As an adult I built custom dollhouses in precision scales for collectors. Health issues forced me into a less physical hobby.

Being unable to find the kits I wanted for heritage scraping, I began to design for my own use. I now do digital designs but continue to do paper and hybrid layouts also. One of my favorite projects is altered books which use all mediums. Digital designing is a wonderful new outlet for my creative impulses.

Forget Me Not’s

Hi, my name is Theresa, aka Forget-Me-Nots because scrapbooking for me is all about remembering the important stuff, the silly stuff, the sad stuff and the fun stuff.  I’m a forty-something SAHW/M of 3 children – a son and identical twin daughters and am truly married to my best friend!  There has been a camera in my hand as long as I can remember.  When I was about 12 I began my genealogy journey and later I developed and began teaching heritage scrapbooking classes in 1997.  I resisted digital a long time, but now love it.  In addition to scrapbooking I love Bible study, reading, sewing, lace knitting, spinning, photography, genealogy, veggie gardening and healthy cooking.

Kaklai Designs

My name is Karen Kleiman, I am 42 years young, mother of Guillermo of 24 and Camila of 21. I am divorce and living in my beautiful country Uruguay (South America). My natural language is Spanish, and I hope my English is good enough. So, I fell in love with Digital Scrap booking a long time ago…and as many other designers and scrappers in this world I become an addict. I can’t stop smiling while I am creating, is my own poetry corner where everything feels right. So even when I am a smoker trying to quick, a caffeine lover and a denied athletic woman, I can positive say that I feel healthy and alive while the colors and textures blend in realistic shades of who I really am…I love designing, creating, scrapping as day one which I think it was like 4 years ago. So, welcome to my world, I hope you like and share my passion about my art.

Pamela Rose Design

My initial step into the world of digital design came about two years ago when I picked up a copy of Photoshop CS3 and slowly, but surely, began to unravel its mysteries.  Very soon, I discovered that learning Photoshop was much akin to finding a magic wand that, carefully waved about, could produce the most astonishing works of artistry, even among those of us who are more gatherers and arrangers than true artists.  From that point on, digital scrapbook design became my creative outlet of choice.

Rachael Hudnall Design

Since kindergarten Arts & Crafts was my favorite class. Junior high and high school brought along real art classes. After moving out on my own, I wanted to continue creative endeavors. I quickly found that adult crafts came with a big mess, a loss of the kitchen table, and an empty bank account. After several years of avoiding the local Michael’s I tried paper scrapping. 3 layouts later I remembered why I don’t do crafty things and began looking for clip art and patterns to save a little money. Then I came across digital scrapbooking. With some experience using PSP, I thought, “I can do this.” Soon after my thinking changed to, “I can make that.” 4 years later and here we are.

Star Song Studio

My name is Ann Plantier and I live in the U.S. just outside of Philadelphia. My daughter introduced me to digital scrapbooking in 2009. I signed up for courses, workshops and challenges, bought books and spent a lot of time scrapping. I quickly decided that I’d like to make  my own designs.  More courses, workshops, books and lots more scrapping. I  started selling in May, 2010.   I discovered that the digital scrapbooking community is one which gives freely of its time and experience and I’ve benefited greatly from the advice, tips and feedback of so many scrappers and designers.

Victorian Rose Designs

My two favorite hobbies are digi-scrapping and genealogy.  When I  discovered how to combine the two into Heritage Scrapbooks, I found contentment and was challenged to get my family stories out of the  filing cabinet, and into the hands of my family.    When I found Heritage Scrap, I knew I had come home.   I love scrapping the past in my heritage layouts, but as the mother of eight children, I find it so important to document their lives in scrapbooks that will be passed down to them and their children.    I enjoy Bible study, singing, homeschooling, listening to classic radio shows and taking walks on our farm in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains with my family.
